Gauge Behavior: The factory fuel gauge and DTE (Distance to Empty) display remain functional but will exhibit unique characteristics due to the vehicle's locked OEM software parameters. Upon filling the 185L tank, the vehicle's maximum estimated range (DTE) display will still cap at the factory 90L limit. However, as you drive, the range display and fuel gauge will deplete at a significantly slower rate—typically dropping only 1km for every 2km of actual distance traveled. When the low-fuel warning light triggers on your dashboard, the system leaves a generous physical reserve of approx. 25L - 30L remaining in the dual-chamber tanks, providing an exceptional safety margin for remote overland travel.
