FUEL GAUGE BEHAVIOR:
While driving, the fuel system prioritizes the main tank by default. During this phase, both the main tank fuel gauge and the estimated range on the instrument panel will decrease synchronously, which is a normal display state.
When the fuel level in the main tank drops to a preset threshold, the siphon fuel transfer system activates automatically. It transfers fuel from the sub-tank to the main tank as needed (e.g., replenishing approximately one bar of fuel), thereby maintaining the main tank at a sufficient level and preventing it from running too low.
As the main tank fuel level is replenished, the vehicle’s computer recalculates the driving range based on the updated real-time fuel quantity. Consequently, the total range displayed on the instrument panel will increase accordingly. This change is not a display error but an accurate reflection of the increased total fuel available, indicating that fuel from the sub-tank has been integrated into the main supply system and the vehicle’s overall range has been supplemented.
